Where did Tom & Jerry's World Famous Dog House Sauce come from? The sauce came from a desire to enjoy a NY style hotdog on the street. Nothing was more pleasurable for me when I was growing up in NYC than stopping to get a good hotdog from one of those little hotdog carts. They seemed to be everywhere. The idea of owning a hotdog stand in northern Michigan excited me. I now own and operate Tom & Jerry's Dog House, and everyone loves it. However, I wanted to create a perfect hot sauce that would be a signature for my hotdogs. This was the beginning of Tom & Jerry's World Famous Dog House Sauce. When I introduced it to my customers I was overwhelmed with requests to where they could buy it. So I began bottling and selling it at the stand. WHO KNEW?? Now my famous sauce can be found in a variety of stores and restaurants in Traverse City, MI. It's now available on our Web Site for your enjoyment. How hot is it? On a scale of 1 to 10 depending on your taste, the sauce is between 5 to 7. It compliments your favorite food. We like the sauce on hot dogs, burgers, pizza, spaghetti, chicken, pork, eggs and in soups, sauces, and chili. We also use it on our sandwiches. Any food that you want to enhance just add the sauce to it. It's just the right amount of heat, you are only limited by your imagination to its application.
